Job Description
Responsibilities Edit and mix weekly podcast episodes: clean audio, cut dead air, balance voices, and add intro and outro music Film recording sessions and edit full-length episodes for YouTube Create 3–5 short vertical clips per episode with captions for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Post content on a set schedule and track basic performance load episodes to the podcast host and songs to the music distributor Set up and operate studio equipment during recording sessions Keep organized files and meet every release deadline Requirements Portfolio of at least 3 finished podcast episodes, videos, or music tracks (required with application) Working skill in at least one audio editor (Adobe Audition, Descript, Pro Tools, or Logic Pro) Working skill in video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve) Experience creating short-form social media content Reliable, self-directed, and able to meet weekly deadlines Available for in-person recording sessions in Roanoke, including some evenings Own laptop capable of audio and video editing Preferred Music mixing and mastering experience Background in media, communications, or music production (degree or coursework) Experience growing a social media account Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and music distribution services

The show shares real stories about family, faith, friendship, and entrepreneurship, and features an original song every month. Our studio and recording equipment are in place. We need a producer to turn our sessions into a polished, consistent show.
