\n \nPosition Summary
\n \nSecurity Applications team is looking for a collaborative, driven, and technically skilled professional looking to make a meaningful impact in enterprise security by delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions. This role will serve as a key project resource for our BEAR Enhancements initiative, partnering closely with the Firewall Compliance team to drive operational excellence, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n• Assist with the health, performance, and reliability of the BEAR application.
\n• Design and develop complex software solutions to address business challenges.
\n• Translate ideas into actionable user stories and deliver high-quality outcomes.
\n• Provide insights and solutions to product owners and business users.
\n• Ensure regulatory compliance and apply Human Performance tools during testing and implementation.
\n• Lead design/code reviews and uphold best practices in source control and documentation.
\n• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly across diverse audiences.
\n• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset and passion for learning.
\n \nRequired Qualifications
\n• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
\n• 10+ years of experience in application development and support.
\n• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
\n• Experience managing multiple priorities and user stories.
\n• Familiarity with the full application lifecycle.
\n \nPreferred Qualifications
\n(Listed in order of importance)
\n• Solid SQL background; comfortable with DBA tasks and stored procedures.
\n• Proficiency in C#.
\n• Python experience, especially for data extraction tasks.
\n• GUI development experience with Angular; strong JavaScript skills; basic HTML/CSS.
\n• RESTful APIs
\n• Familiarity with firewall policies or a networking background.
\n• Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls.
\n• Knowledge of Archer platform.
\n• Comfort working with transactional and denormalized databases.
\n• Kafka experience.
